What's New with PupilBox?

What’s New with PupilBox?

It has been a while since you’ve heard from us, but that’s because we’ve been busy cooking up a lot of new and exciting initiatives!

Our new, full e-commerce website goes live SEPTEMBER FIRST. Whether you missed out on Kickstarter or have just been waiting for the right opportunity to become a PupilBoxer, our new website will offer a way for your to quickly and easily purchase both our glasses individually as well as the full PupilBox Visual Lifestyle system, with the same specificity of Kickstarter– meaning the option to choose from one our three new lenses, as well as both our signature and standard frame lines.

We are absolutely thrilled to say that we have completed prototypes and manufacturing of our THREE new lens lines: The Casually Connected lens for those who use screens 6-8 hours a day and are looking for a less tinted lens, the Digitally Addicted lens for our customers who use a computer screen more than 8 hours a day or who are especially health conscious, and the Sleep Lens for those who want to totally block out blue light in the evenings to facilitate a more natural circadian rhythm.

We are also excited to let you know that we are actively pursuing even more solutions to protect your visual lifestyle. From nutritional supplements to screen protectors to digitally-optimized sunglasses– get ready to see even more from our team.

After much consideration and feedback from our customers we have decided to introduce several new frames! These will range in style from the bold to the more conservative, from metal to premium acetate to even wood.  We are currently coming up with the names for these new frames, and will be reaching out to YOU to help name one of them!

Unfortunately, there are numerous factors that make your eyes tired and your productivity plummet by causing DES. One of the contributors can be the reduced blink rate which occurs during screen use. We know that blink rate can decrease by as much as a factor of 5 during screen use, but why?
